In response to client demand, Grandparents For Grandchildren is further expanding their Village Service into the Port Adelaide area.
GFGSA Villages are provided only for Grandparent and Kinship Carers to encourage free speech and provide confidentiality.
On Monday 22nd February 2021, from 10.30 am – 12 noon, Grandparent and Kinship Carers are invited to the Bower Cottages Community Centre, 200 Bower Road, SEMAPHORE PARK to discuss issues effecting grandparents who are primary carers of their grandchildren and access information and support in a safe and welcoming environment.
The GFGSA Village Service is a unique program based on the premise of ‘It takes a village to raise a child’, and given a location and opportunity Grandparent and Kinship Carers can meet like-minded people for support and companionship. The Port Adelaide Village will be the latest in a series of community based outreach projects conducted by GFGSA across both metropolitan and regional locations.
For more information or to discuss attending or speaking at a Village meeting contact GFGSA Deputy CEO Joanne Lauritsen on (08) 8212 1937.
This is a Covid-safe event.
